Prototyping

PrototypingOnce the final design is approved, materials are ordered for production of the prototype.  Our team of experienced craftsmen then create a realistic pre-production sample of the concept for client evaluation.

At this point the client reviews the prototype and is given the opportunity to make any last-minute changes before the project goes into production.

Model shop capabilities include vacuum-forming, acrylic sheet manipulation, molded plastic simulations and CNC metal fabrication.

Besides being a cost-effective model for client evaluation, the prototype is especially important when the program is complex in terms of design, structure, materials and manufacturing process.  In addition, prototypes are good tools for value engineering when considering different manufacturing processes.
